How much work is too much?
I have one job, that is part time, when I asked to be full time.
I'm working on getting another one, which will be part time. And I'm pretty sure I got it.
Then, I'm thinking about also doing this other thing. But not very often.
Three jobs, possibly?
I never thought I would ever have that happen.
But I gotta make money.
The bills aren't going to stop coming.

My baby nephew is finally here :)

He is so beautiful, he makes me cry when I hold him. His big sister is so sweet to him :) I love it.

Work lately has been extremely stressful. Emotionally stressful.. which for me, I think is tougher than "regular" stress.. whatever that would be.

Ughhh I just need to write it down..

Six days a week I come to this messy house. And I think it's starting to stress me out because I've been doing this almost two years.. and it's just so regular now that my brain is tired from it and just worn out.

Maybe I should just work less hours..

The only good part of my day is leaving this house and seeing my boyfriend.. or most days.. every once in a while I'll be in a good mood at work..

a friend i used to work with had this on a blog. and i feel it is very very accurate, and very much of how i believe as well. he just put it into words much better than i ever could.

There's no doubt about God's existence right?  He is some white all powerful grey bearded trillion year old man who watches over everyone here on Earth.  Right?  I say forget what you learned in Sunday school, TV or movies and turn into yourself to find out what God is for you.  You don't need outside references to connect with the collective energy known as God.  It is hard for me to fake that God is simply an old man who gives us birth and waits for us to die to meet us at the golden gate.  That's simply a sugar coated explanation for something incomprehensible.  One cannot be closer to God because they donated to a church, or because they read the Bible from cover to cover.  It goes deeper than that.  It goes all the way  to the deepest depths of the heart, soul, and nature of Earth and the Universe.  We are foolish to think of God as a person.  Does he have a portfolio or a retirement fund?  Did he have a career or a family?  If God was a person than humans would be the first living creatures to ever set foot on the planet.  Well, unfortunately single celled organisms were here long before any person set foot on the ground.  God is an energy.  God is a force.  I would even  say that God is a consciousness, but one not limited to the Earth alone.  God is the beginning, the end, and all that is between.  It is Universal with no room for discrimination.  People cannot sell me on God anymore. I feel God because God is me and everything else.  It makes everyone alive and makes us die.  This life is not a courtroom with God as the judge.  It is an exchange of energy good and bad.  I believe that there is a constant shift in personal energies based on the decisions we make.  Some call it Kharma, but I call it consequence.  Every cause has an effect.  Good brings good.  Bad brings bad.  The force that runs the Universe is what I would call God not some all powerful tyrant that enstills fear in men.  That's just our amazing unlimited imaginations.  This is my opinion.  Use your brain to its potential.  Don't limit yourself to another's conception.  Find it for yourself.  Really there is no explanation. Peace.

I put this on my myspace.. but I figured it would get read here too.

So I was reading this in a bulletin.. like I've seen so many before.. I'm sure you've read them too.

"This will make you re-think: A Trivia question in Sunday School:
How long is the beast allowed to have authority in Revelations?
Revelations Chapter 13 tells us it is 42 months, and you know what that
is. Almost a four-year term of a Presidency.

All I can say is 'Lord, Have mercy on us!'
According to The Book of Revelations the anti-Christ is: The anti-Christ will be a man, in his 40's, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace and when he is in power, will destroy everything.. "

Ok well, I just read Revelations chapter 13, and here is most of it:

"And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blashphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority......
The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forth-two months. He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast- all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world."

Then it goes on to talk about a second beast coming out of the earth.
Shoot I'll call that one John McCain if you're gonna call this first one Obama.

And I don't know about you, but to me that sounds like something from Lord of the Rings. And understand that this book of Revelations was written by an apostle, John. So these things written in this book are all of John's beliefs and opinions.

I didn't see anything in there about the "beast" being the antichrist, or Muslim, or in his forties. And because that wasn't mentioned, well for heaven's sake if McCain wins this election (which he will not) then he'll be the one in power for 42 months, and my God did you think of it that way?! McCain is now the antichrist if he wins??

People will believe whatever they're spoon-fed. And they'll believe whatever sounds "right". It's when people talk like they do in that first quoted paragraph I have is when it starts to sound like DayStar, that brainwashing Christian television channel, and I know everyone knows what it is.
It's Christians like that, and like the ones who claim all of these ridiculous theories, that have other religions, or other people in general, weary of Christian people. People like that give Christianity a bad name, and I know that I'm not the only one who thinks this way. That is why so many people think "we" are ignorant. "We" being us Christians. It's people like that that make me ashamed to call myself a part of this religion. Because I don't want to be associated with the same ideas and beliefs and mindsets of some people who are still stuck in a world without individuality, expression, and freedom to choose, as well as to think for themselves. This is a world of change. It isn't the 1700s anymore.

Another thing that really disgusts me about American people is that we have terrorists in our own country. What am I talking about? Obama couldn't even campaign in some areas of the south because people there were threatening to kill him because he is BLACK. WHAT THE HELL. Again, this is 2008. Decades have passed since it was "okay" for segregation. To know that people still think that whites and blacks are not equal makes me want to throw up. And those people are only so ignorant because of generations and generations of being taught that that's the way it is. UGHH. I don't care who is running in this election. I could care less if it was some other guy running against McCain. I just don't like anything that McCain is offering, so I won't vote for him. I don't care how old he is, or that he's served our country "with honor". I don't like what he's proposing to do for America.

___

This is a statement that Obama has made that has lots of people worrying. And why would they be worrying? This statement does nothing but merely state the truth. It's when people twist around what they "think" is being said, that it gets taken in the wrong way, and people start to freak out.

"We are no longer a Christian nation; we are now a nation of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists..."

Well WE ARE a nation of Christians, Jews, Muslims, and Buddhists!! People of all religion, and ethnicity come here for THAT reason, so that they can freely express their religious beliefs and not be slandered or killed for them. Seriously, I know more honest people who don't believe in God than I do honest Christians. And when Christians say things like "Oh, he's condemning this country that our forefathers have fought and died for! They started this country from Christianity and wanted to keep it that way!"
Well open your eyes, it's 2008 and America is about freedom, not religion. If you want to live in a country where the leader of it forces everyone to practice "their" religion, go move there, because it isn't this one.
